Roadmap
The aim of current work is to deliver the foafrealm 2.0 Release Candidate in February 2007. Then the final version will be delivered at the end of April 2007.
The version 2.5 Release Candidate will be delivered in November 2007, and the final version in January 2008.
Key features are listed below.
2.0
- Apply new SOA-based architecture
- New way of generation user ID, which contains ASCII characters only
- Implement forgot password feature
- In case of problems with the system, display an information message for the user.
- Deliver jsp tag files for admin, user and other UI parts
- The persistence layer will be accessible through RDF API based on RDF2GO
- Simple configuration based on JMX mBean
- Repair registration email bug
2.1
- Implement Distributed SSO for the applied SOA architecture
2.2
- Implementation of the Distributed RDF storages based on P2P and Replications
2.3
- Registration using VCARD
- Ensure support for Project and Organization FOAF vocabulary
2.4
- LDAP integration
- GetFOAF will produce a nice looking FOAF
2.5
- DigiMe implementation
- Allow users to choose default "serialization" property
- Implement multiple relationships
Versions 2.0, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5 will be probably delivered by me; version 2.1 will be done by me and Adam; version 2.2 is based on Tomasz and will be delivered by him.
